Finance Director

Job Summary
The Finance Director provides strategic leadership over the financial and administrative functions of the organization, including Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain, and IT. The role ensures the financial health, operational efficiency, and governance of the entire functions across all branches, supporting sustainable growth and strategic decision-making.
As a key member of the executive leadership team, the Finance Director aligns financial and administrative functions with overall corporate strategy, drives risk management, and ensures regulatory compliance across all group entities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Financial Leadership
- Advise the CEO and Board on financial performance, risks, and strategic opportunities.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis for all subsidiaries, departments, and new businesses.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital projects.
- Provide financial insights to guide business growth and investment decisions.
- Lead setup of new business units, in new or existing countries.
2. Financial Management
- Oversee consolidated financial reporting for all group entities.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of management accounts, statutory reports, and audited financial statements.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial governance frameworks.
- Manage treasury, cash flow, working capital, and capital allocation across all branches.
- Monitor KPIs and financial performance against targets.
- Manage relationships with third parties: banks, lenders, auditors, legal, tax authorities.
3. Internal Audit & Risk Management
- Develop and oversee internal audit plans based on potential risks.
- Implement and oversee internal controls, compliance, and operational efficiencies.
- Monitor group financial and operational risks and implement mitigation actions.
- Ensure fraud prevention, asset protection, and adherence to corporate governance standards.
4. Administrative Leadership
- Provide strategic oversight and management of key administrative functions:
- Human Resources: Talent management, payroll, succession planning, policies, and labor compliance.
- Supply Chain & Procurement: Procurement strategy, supplier management, inventory control, logistics, and cost optimization.
- Information Technology: IT strategy, infrastructure, systems integration, cybersecurity, and software.
- Ensure alignment of all administrative functions with company's strategy and operational objectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of senior managers, and build succession plans and develop the team's capabilities and career paths.
5. Compliance
- Ensure group compliance with local laws, regulations, and accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) in each country.
- Ensure tax planning and compliance with local and international tax laws.
- Prepare and present reports to the Board on financial, and administrative performance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- Professional finance qualification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) required.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in finance and administration.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior executive role
- Proven experience managing multi-subsidiary or multi-functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, corporate governance, tax, and regulatory compliance.
