Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Sales Engineer – Lighting Solutions with a strong technical background and proven ability to manage and win large-scale commercial and residential projects.
The role combines technical expertise, solution selling, and relationship management, targeting key clients such as shopping malls, real estate developers, consultants, and corporate clients.
The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing tailored lighting solutions while driving sales growth and long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage sales activities for professional lighting solutions (indoor, outdoor, architectural, and project-based).
- Identify, approach, and secure major accounts:
- Shopping malls
- Residential developers & compounds
- Corporate offices & industrial clients
- Consultants, contractors, and decision-makers
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Analyze client requirements and propose optimized lighting solutions aligned with project specifications and budgets.
- Prepare and negotiate commercial offers, tenders, and technical proposals.
- Coordinate closely with design, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure accurate project execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
- Follow up on projects from specification stage through closing and post-sale support.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies in lighting solutions.
- Achieve assigned sales targets, margins, and growth objectives.
Required Profile & Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in lighting solutions sales or a similar technical B2B sales role.
- Strong technical knowledge of lighting systems, including specifications, controls, and applications.
- Proven track record in handling large projects and high-value clients.
- Ability to confidently convince and influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience dealing with consultants, contractors, developers, and end users.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong commercial mindset combined with a solution-oriented technical approach.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical or related field preferred).
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
